State Protocol and Industry Leaders Visit Our Laboratory: High-Profile Briefing for METE S-1

The Kartal Air R&D Center had the distinct honor of hosting a high-profile delegation consisting of state protocol members and prominent industrial leaders. During the visit, District Governor Sedat Sırrı Arısoy, District Director of National Education Hacı Kaya, and Cemal Dener, the CEO of Dener Makine—one of our nation's leading industrial enterprises—received a comprehensive technical briefing from our student engineering team. The delegation closely inspected the unique modular 3D-printed fuselage architecture, optimized aerodynamic design, and advanced autonomous software algorithms of our brushless electric jet motor (EDF) driven METE S-1 UAV, which is qualified for the SUAS 2026 finals in the USA. The visitors highly commended our pioneering work, which beautifully exemplifies the profound capabilities of technical vocational education in high-tech manufacturing.
