High-resolution 3D printing technologies were implemented during the fabrication of METE's modular fuselage to achieve the perfect balance between structural strength and weight reduction. Layer adhesion, extrusion temperatures, and flow rates of the lightweight LW-PLA material were rigorously tested and optimized under laboratory conditions. This micron-level precision allows the outer shell to function strictly as an aerodynamic surface, completely preventing structural deformations under flight loads.
